What is VolleySim?
VolleySim is a virtual training product for Volleyball Players and Coaches in order to visualize specific decision making aspects of the game of volleyball. Our top priority is to ensure the accuracy of a training simulation to empower motivated athletes the ability to train no matter where they are. VolleySim will train athletes to rch their potential and incrse their level of play. Many players want extra practices, more coaching, and more help to improve, but at a point, the body must rest. VolleySim is designed to allow those athletes who crave more knowledge and more practice a way to practice rding the game, anytime, anywhere.
What is rding the game?

“The importance of preparation, rding and anticipation over the actual contact can perhaps best be seen with these facts from the Beijing 2008 Olympics. The average USA player contacted the ball 17 times per set in the indoor games (44 times for bch). Both tms played 8 matches in their runs to the Gold Medal finals, averaging 4 sets per match. The average contact periods per skill [are] .10 sec for setting; .05 for passing; .01 seconds for hitting and .03 for blocking. So using an average contact time of .05 seconds, the average total time of CONTACT by a player through the entire Olympic games was 27.4 seconds.” –John Kessel

Rding the game is the ability for you to see what is happening with the other tm in terms of both court position and body position in order to anticipate a most likely course of action. This anticipation will allow you to move yourself and your body in the correct position prior to the ball even starting to move to your side of the court.
